Profender 12-Inch Triple Bypass Shock Kit
This is a Complete kit to fit 12 inch Profender triple bypass in the front of your Nissan Patrol, they are a very tight fit and i tried to make these as compact as i could so there is minimal hinderance in the engine bay, this also makes it a little tricky to fit so if you have any issues please get in contact.
Important:
1- It is tight around the brake master cylinder, depending on the condition of your body mounts you may need to trim a corner off to get a little more clearance. These are designed and tested on a car with no body lift and work, a body lift helps it clear easy. You won’t be able to removed the brake booster without lifting the cab, a good mod to do is remove the studs out of the back side of the booster and replace with bolts, I haven’t tried yet but this should mean you can squeeze the booster out as is.
2- when positioning the lower mount make sure the radius arm bolts are going from the outside facing inwards, put the car at full bump and give the shock a few mm clearance between the bolt head and shock body. Also turn full lock both ways and make sure the tie rod can still go under the mount without fouling. Check your brake caliper to bypass tube clearance at full lock and full bump.
Mount Compatibility: Designed for a 1.75-inch mount width with a 5/8-inch hole
Lift & Components: Suitable for vehicles with a 3-4 inch lift. upper tower will be into the engine bay so you are required to cut out the inner guard. This is designed to be used with a 2 inch travel 2 inch body hydraulic bump stop. If you are using a hydraulic bump stop you are required to still install a short final rubber bump to stop the hydro and shock casing out. i will have a kit available soon with some final short rubber bumps to work with this shock mount kit
